Pug Camp Rules and Regulations

All campers agree to the following rules and regulations:

  1. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by their parent or legal guardian at all times.
  2. No one under the age of 18 may be unsupervised at the waterfront.
  3. There is no smoking anywhere on the campgrounds.
  4. Each attendee is required to bring a donation item/basket of $30+ value to be included in our silent auction to benefit the participating rescues. Campers attending as a pair or family are encouraged to bring one larger item/basket valued at $60+. Donations must be submitted at least 2 weeks before camp. (A link to submit your donation will be sent via email and posted on social media accounts.)
  5. All dogs attending Pug Camp need to be spayed or neutered. Please email info@pugcamp.com if you have questions or need to request a medical exemption.
  6. Owners must bring proof of current rabies vaccination or an exemption letter from a veterinarian for each dog attending to be allowed entry to Pug Camp. If you have any questions, please email info@pugcamp.com.
  7. Each attendee is responsible for making decisions with their veterinarian regarding other recommended vaccinations and flea/tick treatment for their dogs before attending camp.
  8. Dogs are not allowed inside the dining hall.
  9. All dogs must be on a leash or in stroller and may not roam free around the grounds at Pug Camp. (Dogs do not have to be on leash for indoor events.)
  10. No retractable leashes. Even the friendliest of dogs can sometime be unpredictable. Retractable leashes are prohibited for the safety of campers and their dogs.
  11. If your male dog will mark (lift their leg to pee on things), please make sure he wears a belly band indoors at all times, including in the covered arena.
  12. Accidents happen. Please make sure to pay attention to your dog and clean up after your pup if they have an accident.
  13. Always pick up and properly dispose of poop.
  14. Any person whose dog/dogs exhibit aggressive or uncontrolled behavior may be asked to leave, with no refund given.
  15. Any person whose behavior is disruptive or endangers another person or animal may be asked to leave, with no refund given.
  16. No cars are permitted on campus at ANY time other than designated arrival and leaving times. Cars may not drive across or park on grass areas.
  17. After arrival, cars must be parked in the designated parking area outside the camp entrance. Paved parking spots inside the camp entrance are reserved for camp staff and emergency personnel.
  18. All attendees are expected to leave their bunk/rooms in good condition and free of odor, waste, or damage. Failure to do so will result in a cleaning fee being charged to your credit card on file after camp ends. The cleaning fee starts at $100, fee will depend on the condition of the room at end of camp.
  19. All registration fees/donations are considered final once a transaction has been completed.
